The Meisner Taster Class

Due to the previous sold out class at 11.45am we are running an extra workshop!

Presented by the Actors Temple and Led by Mark Wakeling

Suitable for both actors wanting to take part and learn new rehearsal techniques,
the workshop is dynamic and energetic and includes a brief history on Sandford Meisner.

Meisner believed that learning the ability to act is no different from learning the ability to play music,
and developed a series of exercises which specifically address the requirements of the actor:
imaginative depth, focus,emotional range and spontaneity.

Mark's professional credits include:
Ken Loach's The Wind That Shakes The Barley , ITV's Primeval , Peep Show , Doctors ,
Footballers Wives , Athul Fugard's Playland , Band of Brothers .
